Sports Domain Academy (SDA) is a rapidly expanding sports coaching company located in
Montclair, New Jersey, 15 miles west of midtown Manhattan. We are looking to recruit a selection of qualified and experienced coaches. SDA offers short (summer) and long term (18-month) opportunities for sports coaches looking to further their development by living and working in the United States.

SDA conducts a thorough two week-long coach orientation program for new recruits. All on-field and off-field matters are described in detail. New recruits are required to obtain a US coaching license immediately. SDA conducts continuous staff training and evaluation programs that optimize a coach's potential and improves all facets of a staff member's performance. Regular staff meetings and training initiatives encourage idea sharing and peer teaching.
Accomodation
All staff will stay in fully furnished housing paid for by SDA which will have internet access and subsidized utility bills.
Transport
Employees will have access to shared company transport which is all paid for by SDA (including fuel expenses).
Additional benefits
Salaried employees will receive a range of additional benefits including medical insurance, physical therapy consultation, unpaid out of season holiday time, subsidized coaching certification courses and apparel supplied by adidas.
SDA Team Trainers
Have the opportunity to work for 6-18 months in the USA. SDA work primarily in the evenings and will be assigned to work with specific teams offering a program appropriate to develop the players individually and as a team over course of a season.
Summer Camp Coaches
Have the opportunity to fly out to the USA in June or July to work for a 5-10 week period, returning to the UK in late August. Camp coaches work 3-6 hours each day which can be morning, afternoon or evening. SDA Summer Coaches work on week long camps at various locations in New Jersey, New York and Massachusetts having the opportunity to stay in SDA staff housing and with local families.
Lacrosse Coaches
We have focused our recruitment on international players who understand the modern game, yet have the sports teaching and sports psychology background to bring a unique voice from the world's leading lacrosse playing nations.
